As much as I love Uzi, what’s his record in Asia like? You’re better off persisting with Green at 6. Gives him young experience in Asia, plus his bowling will be needed, he fields like a gun and the runs will come.

Uzi for Harris on the other hand…

I recall Uzi almost single handedly contributing to a draw versus Pakistan in the UAE around 2018. Just one example, granted.

I reckon they will pick Uzie at 6 for the Asian tours and leave Green out.

Bowling will be 3 quicks and Lyon with Labs, Smith and Head to roll the arm over if required in spin friendly environments.

I'm well unfamiliar with how you'd go about composing a team in Asia, but I guess my immediate thought is that you need 5 bowlers (3 quick, 2 spin) + a few extras just to deal with the conditions?

Sorry to channel Shane Warne but Sydney is the pits. Full of shit drivers and shit weather. I have no choice but to get absolutely paro now.

In any event, in this climate, you are probably not going to get to play the XI that you want to play very often

What about Warner? 35 and averages 24 in India. 27 in Sri Lanka. Does he skip Pakistan?

So a guy who played half a test is an automatic in yet a guy who has proven himself over a long period, albeit much better at home than away, is at risk of losing his spot.

Sounds reasonable.

Are you referring to Warner here?

FTR I'm only suggesting this on player welfare grounds- not form. It seems like most players are looking to be selective if they can be due to bubble fatigue
