Yeah I think they were a year too late to do something. The money Novak generates to the ecomony will help alot. Normally athletes get a free pass with these events and I don't see how this time is any different.

Rules are Rules though to enter Aus as a Visitor one must be double vaxed and or be medically exempt -by the Fed Government and not Tennis Australia who have no jurisdiction on this matter.

Djokovic did not meet the entry requirements so his Visa is subject to Cancellation .

Just because you have a Visa does not mean you will be granted entry into a country as people often don't disclose things on their application or provide incorrect responses to questions.

If you have to happen to watch those border security shows you can see people' whose visa are cancelled and refused entry to that country

You can't make exemptions for someone just because they are a tennis player- Djokovic should be treated like anyone else.

He is getting special treatment though as most if not all whose visa is cancelled are put on the next available flight out of the relevant country.

I hope the right decision is made and he fly's back to his tax haven Monte Carlo
