Shane Watson: 4 - Bowled well at times to create pressure but is yet to make a significant impact in this series with bat or ball.
Chris Rogers: 7 - Set Australia on the road to early domination with a sparkling 84, his highest Test score, to cement his place.
Usman Khawaja: 3 - Desperately unlucky in the first innings and chasing runs in the second. Needs a decent score.
Michael Clarke: 9 - Once again Australias backbone with 187, his first century batting at number four.
Steve Smith: 7 - Played an important innings in a double century partnership with Clarke to take the game away from England.
David Warner: 4 - Looked better at the top of the order opening the batting in the second innings. Adds vibrancy in the field.
Brad Haddin: 6 - Excellent Test with bat and gloves after a poor Test at Lords. Led from the front as a vice-captain should.
Peter Siddle: 7 - Another excellent Test with the ball and looked set to help bowl Australia to victory before the rain.
Mitchell Starc: 6 - A solid Test with the ball and fine match with the bat. Will be a star if he can find consistency with both.
Ryan Harris: 7 - Another outstanding performance opening the bowling. Knocked the top off Englands order in the second innings.
Nathan Lyon: 2 - Disappointing Test after a good start. Must make an impact to keep Fawad Ahmed out of the team this summer.
