Root had the shakes out there a bit, probably desperate for a lunch time durrie or two.

Joe root would be struggling to keep his spot in the side if Haddin didn't drop him early on in his 180. He's out of his depth at the top. Having said all that, that ball from Harris was unplayable.

Would be good to get one more before they take the lead, might be a bit optimistic though :lol:

agree, would have preferred Compton or Robert Key instead

In terms of playing at grounds, Chester Le Street in County Durham is one of the smallest most far flung places to have a cricket ground, at least in England anyway (20000 residents in that town)

Why isnt there a test match at a bigger/ more central city?

Also county Durham is wet all year round, the amount of rainfall in August is roughly the same in January
