Clearly this deck is not going to be an easy one to bat on. The conditions will suit Onions and Anderson by the looks of it.

I hope the lads are switched on, England clearly weren't.

The wrong man got 5, Clark was the pick of the bowlers easily and deserved it :fist: Good stuff all round though, get that in ya England :D

Watson does in 4 balls what most English batsman failed to acheive.

Double figures.

Talk about differing starts to innings...Strauss falls over his shot, is out and not given but really sets the tone...Watson smacks two consecutive fours

Hopefully we can score over 300 minimum in this dig, hopefully over 600 at 4 an over

Sh*ttle only got the tailenders

Clark was the man

I guess you missed the key wicket of Strauss that Siddle got. Not to mention all the trouble the tail has caused us throughout the entire series but hey that doesn't matter. Lets also ignore the fact that he's now the leading wicket taker of the series because he's a Victorian.
Clark bowled extremely well and he also had the chance to pick up more of the tailenders wickets as well but he didn't not to mention the fact that he got broad out as well who is a tailender.
They both bowled very well, infact all the bowlers did today.

Bit of a dog move by ponting taking Clark out of the attack when he was still pressuring them, ensuring he wouldnt get his 5 wicket haul.

Didnt the poms give their best effort booing the christ out of him when he came out to bat

Concur.

I strongly believe the descision to play Clark was forced upon Ponting, and he'd rather have retained the same attack.

Rubbish captain.
