Why do the two subcontinent nations in this series suck so badly at ODI's?

India - prove ^ that ^ statement wrong to make this competition fugging worth it :fist:

Where do you draw that India suck from? :?

Test series they were competitive.

And they were very competitive in game 1- it was just washed out

Had it not have been rained out in the first place we'd have seen Australia win. Under the D/L revised totals things changed dramatically.

Lol and you're so sure?

India got 194 on a very damp and slow pitch. Problem with a damp pitch is it gets very poppy and every condition that batsmen wants to be consistent is variable. Hopes got undone by a Sharma delivery that moved a mile under lights, and Ponting's bounced a little too much for something on that length.

3/51 with no extravagant shots and the ball moving around a mile- I wish I was as confident as you.

I think the psychology involved after the increase of number of runs required would've attributed greatly to their stroke play. JMO though... it's an impossible argument to win.

No but for the number of runs reqd to go up by any amount despite the fact there were less overs involved... that would screw with you a bit... maybe that's just me.

All he means dude is that India were in good positions for both :p A lot of runs against the Sri Lankans and a reasonable score on a wet pitch in Sydney with a few key wickets.

You write them off way too easily.
