Not sure about that

bowled out with 20 overs to spare isn't a good look

they obviously decided to go the tonk from ball 1, it backfired badly
Probably what NZ wanted to happen rather than them trying to build and have wickets in hand in the 35th over or so

Still would like Kyle Mills in the side, for either Milne or Southee

But hey, hell of a ride

The fact that they mowed 250 at 8 an over says a fair bit, even the tail got stuck into them.
It was a convincing win of course but 3/5 bowlers going at 10 an over isn't fantastic

Chasing 400 means little pressure, they played with extra freedom and without fear, and Gayle couldn't run so forced the issue - wouldn't read too much into it

Southee struggling a bit, bit like Johnson for Aust - selected on trust, but is actually bowling shit...

I expect he'll come good against the Jaapies - would like Mills in for Milne, I just think he can do a job either opening or first change

Not really. WI are a noted side of big hitters who bat deep into the tail end, NZ were defending a huge total and obviously just decided that they could afford to let the Windies go the tonk with the confidence that the wickets would come, and come they did. The result was never remotely in doubt.

great knock from Guptil, everything coming together nicely for the Kiwis at the pointy end of the series and Chris Gayle's knock was entertaining to watch

I can excuse Vettori for going for a few runs, but Southee hasn't really impressed me after the England game and has been spraying it a bit. Milne and Anderson still unconvincing. Someone like de Villers can really get stuck in to these three.

Boult is absolutely outstanding.

That's harsh... I don't think it was going to matter who was bowling at them... They were going for plenty.

It's not like McGlenaghan would have done better... He got smashed to all parts from Bangladesh FFS...

I say (yet again ) given the critical nature of early wickets, I'd rather have Mills than Milne... he could have easily come on early for Southee, at the end of the day the ball is 6 or so overs old at worst - won't happen now

Mills wouldn't have got Gayle though...
Gayle played on because Milne got on to him quicker than he expected...

Mills would have been launched on to the roof.

Dunno, maybe not - but Mills has bowled to many aggressive openers in the past, and they haven't often gotten on to him... as they say, he hits that hard length, and gets bounce on of the others do

His record is superb, and imo he's probably the most underrated NZ cricketer ever - at one stage he was ranked the world's best ODI bowler...

Anyways, doesn't matter, we all have opinions
