Dunno, maybe not - but Mills has bowled to many aggressive openers in the past, and they haven't often gotten on to him... as they say, he hits that hard length, and gets bounce on of the others do

His record is superb, and imo he's probably the most underrated NZ cricketer ever - at one stage he was ranked the world's best ODI bowler...

Anyways, doesn't matter, we all have opinions
Kyle Mills has been a great servant of NZ cricket.

But Gayle has smashed him out of the ground on numerous occasions...

Case in point...

To be honest I'd rather go with the kid who hasn't been smashed out of the park by Gayle before...

Fair enough, and pretty clear they are riding the Milne horse to the end here, and I get why

That's harsh... I don't think it was going to matter who was bowling at them... They were going for plenty.

It's not like McGlenaghan would have done better... He got smashed to all parts from Bangladesh FFS...

Oh I'm not saying for a second anybody should be replaced, no room for Mills and definitely no room for McClenaghan. In fact I vouched for Boult over him despite Mitch's superior record, it's a red herring because Boult is a far far better bowler.

I'm only a tad worried about our bowling form in general, even against Australia Southee looked loose and I can never help but think that one of these days Milne and Anderson are really going to get clobbered.

Yeah they've come this far with Milne, it would be silly to back out now.

But he's not finding that 150kph pace regularly enough, and when he does it doesn't have Riaz-like control.
