It was a good effort from a team full of too many passengers. can't blame Smiffy he has gone above and beyond. What do you expect when you carry gimps like Wade and the Marshes and your Vice Captain bats like a genius???

Yep. We're not totally without hope, although a win from here is very unlikely....but for a side that was supposed to lose 4-0 and every test by an innings, we can be reasonably content IMO

Better selections and some application from our vice captain and who knows? Renshaw and Handscomb are players for the future and will be much better players for having been there this series, maybe even Maxwell if he can do something here.

Yeah, but you can excuse a 20 year old for not carrying the side when his VC and captain both fail. On balance he's had a good tour. It's a shame he had a shocker this match but he's far from alone in that on the tour.

Just so many missed chances this tour, a drawn series would have been epic for this young side. Will Smarshmallow even bat i wonder? Handscome showed last test he has the ability to make runs in these conditions but could only get going properly once.

Here is my rant.

Listen that shot bt smith was bad but we cant expect one batsman to score more than 3 centuries in a series because the reality is test match batting is hard. Yeah occasionally a bloke will average a century a test across a series but the ideal card is one guy (a smith say) getting 2 or 3 and all the batsmen chipping in with one.

The problems with this team are well known.
An opener who is useless away from home.
The f**king marsh brothers.
The insistence on picking an allrounder even though they are shit and they don't f**king bowl anyway.
A keeper who needs a 24 hour carer
An offspinner who performs once in a blue moon.

Throw in a rookie or two and we are going to struggle.

Imagine if we didn't have hazlegood, Starc and Patty. Or Smith.
