Bancroft is just walking proof of how much of a shit merkin the brown nosed gnome is

Jeez I know JL is a bit of a plank, but the bloke scored 400 runs in three Shield games whilst Renshaw couldn't get into double figures. Langer hardly had to campaign for his selection

Renshaw should never have been dropped, and Bancroft should have been eased in at 6.
The obsession with Marsh fked it up.

Renshaw hasn’t been scoring any runs at all. He was struggling to get to double figures in the lead up to the series.

Langer did start the campaign to get rid of Renshaw though.

You'd think a former opening batsman would of been offering to help a talented young opener instead of sledging him in the media.

Handscomb? Sigh.
Maxipad is obviously on the outer.

Who is putting their hand up ?

Burns is in excellent form. I'd pick him, he can bat anywhere in the top 6. Travis Head maybe, he's batting quite well. Callum Ferguson has been playing really well too and definitely deserves another shot for mine.

Handscomb needs Shield cricket IMO. He's gotta start driving again like he was when he was pasting runs last year, playing back to full balls will get you out no matter where you stand on the crease.

Sick of watching Warner at the non strikers end. Every time he gets off strike he takes gloves off and then checks his willy. It hasn't fallen off yet dude.

I think SMarsh will open in South Africa

Khawaja should secure his spot with a good score here

We just don't have any opener or middle order bat screaming to be picked, unless we go Maxwell.
Maxwell and MMarsh at 5 and 6 may be too much of a gamble but it also could be a good gamble if they click. MMarsh has seemed to get it last couple of tests

Yeah I hear you.
I do prefer the idea of moving foward with real youth, instead of turning to guys like Ferguson for example, but if no-one else is demanding the gig, that makes it hard.
