Yeah Ingram. He is hopeless, I am sorry but if he is anywhere near a NZ side, you are in more trouble than you think. No technique whatsoever.

He can score runs.

Not necessarily the best selection, but dropping him and bringing in Stewart has been worse.

The reality is that we are missing Ryder.

Ryder
McCallum
Guptill
Taylor
Styris

Would be a much better top order

Neitehr should be anywhere near the side. Playing one bad option does not justify playing another shocking option. Would be better bring back one of the Marshall twins, at least they have scored runs internationally.

Depends on how bad your other options are

In saying that, I would have rather had Waitling

He can't be any worse than the two muppets we have seen this series. A big LOL if they are in the test squad!

From what my mate just said to me on the phone, exact same way as game 4?

Game 1

But his trend of looking great and then throwing his wicket away with a rash, impetuous shot is continuing

Ross Taylor... man, I wish he'd just engage his brain. Forget the hockey field swipe to the inner left forward position and start playing cricket. He's one of the best natural bat's going around, but he keeps, for whatever reason, actually for no reason, pulling out this ugly hoick of his. And he does it irrespective of the ball, to him whatever ball is bowled its 6 or out and at 85/3 with a partnership building... ARGHHHH! How on earth can this lad be vice captain of the national side?

Yeah Ingram. He is hopeless, I am sorry but if he is anywhere near a NZ side, you are in more trouble than you think. No technique whatsoever.

Virender Sehwag is the same. No footwork, just golf/tennis's the ball.

Hamish Marshall isn't available for New Zealand. He's playing for Gloucestershire on a Kolpak and is playing for ND as an overseas player. More money for him in the UK than here so he turned his back.

James isn't up to it, never was. Flat track bully against medium pacers in NZ, that's about the extent of his ability.

I wouldn't write either Stewart or Ingram off. They both have scored good runs domestically, and they'll get the opportunity to face much more inferior attacks than Australia's. The next bloke off the rank is Kane Williamson, this guy is an absolute star in the making. He's scoring runs for fun for ND, and I think he's only 19. And of course, you bring back Jesse Ryder soon as well who hits the middle of the bat more often than just about anyone.

When does Johann Myburgh qualify for NZ?

Who cares - Williamson is the one... best young batsmen we've had in a long while...

Neesham is good too, in a couple of years

They need to pick Styris all the time, and offer him whatever it takes to play tests

On Taylor - he should be dropped as vice-captain immediately - the way he gets himself out cannot be tolerated. If we had more depth, I'd be tempted to drop him for a while - it's childish ill-disciplined nonsense tbh

Willamson is the one, undoutbedly. But we need depth in our batting.

Taylor
Williamson
Ryder
Guptill

Good core of batsmen (especially since Styris isn't available), but Ryder seems to be out for injuries or indescretions and Williamson is still young. Myburgh seems a good consistent cricketer to add to the depth of the batting unit.

Mark Greatbatch needs to go off his nut at Taylor. They're too prissy with the bloke, he consistently hoicks catches to square leg and midwicket and nothing seems to change. If the bloke played his normal cricket shots his average in both forms would be better by 10 easily.

Guptill has averaged 17 this series- I am not sure his place in the ODI team should be assured
