Is it half a second if the fielder doesn't chase and bring it back at all? Especially if it saves a quick from chasing, saves his fatigue etc etc. Why else do they have 8-12 staff evenly and strategically placed around the ground the whole series?

Don't have a real problem with them riding the boundary, but surely they can't enter the field of play.

Can’t get caught if you don’t hit it in the air. Good strategy.

You also can’t hit it in the air if you don’t hit it at all which is a strategy adopted by a few of our top order which doesn’t work as well.

All 4 wickets have come from batsmen trying to hit through the air. Beau looks like he could bat much higher than 6. Comforting to see him hit along the carpet.

It will be interesting to see how the side comes along with Green in as well.

I said yesterday that Khawaja might be done and even if he got a halfa’ this innings I’m not sold. I dunno though, he looked the most composed of all the top order batsmen today given the situation. Kinda don’t trust Labs or Smudge. Maybe Ussie does go to Sri Lanka but that means the next potential opener doesn’t get game time in preparation to take over.
