I take your point but as a supporter of thirty odd years, I was excited about the introduction of a numbering system for our past a present players, it's got that feel of honour and privlidge about it as it does with those who wore the baggy green for Australia.

maybe not a big deal for some but I kinda get a kick out of it as an honour roll.

Muz we all know and knew our numbers, but thats a nice thing to have for when you retire.
Its a great reference for our supporters.

I wish I could be at the Charing Cross early on Friday arvo. I'll be struggling to get out there much before kickoff to be honest. If the club cared they'd arrange a chopper for my son & I or at the very least a police escort along the M2....
