Im gunna do my best not to start on a rant here.. But man that post grinds my gears. Yes, they are proffesional football players, but they are also human beings. And if the person who is supposed to be their mentor and guide them on the field continually tells you your crap, well then sooner or later you are going to start to doubt yourself. Its got nothing to do with professionalism, its just human nature. Andy Ryan is the perfect example. Plays for Australia, SOO and captained the Bulldogs.. Smitty told him he didnt deserve to play park footy. Not once, but over and over and over again. Some players in that squad have gone on to win GF's, yet there's Smittys who'se trophy cabinet still sits empty. As I have said before, I love the man. Have all the time in the world for him. But I really think he is out of options as a coach. The hard love approach doesnt work anymore and thats all he's got.
