I agree Tomic does have a bit of an attitude problem but his point IMO is ultimately right. They should make the cut-off time for matches much earlier than it is. Hewitt/Marcos from 2008 was evidence of that.

How so? They get paid big bucks to play tennis. If anything they should be grateful to play at night when it's theoretically cooler than at midday.

Tomic has talent but he has a big mouth and is a big whinger. Ironic, because isn't that what people hate about Hewitt? And yet Hewitt has now cleaned up his act and you all still hate him...Haters.

I reckon Hewitt would be able to beat anyone in the world except Federer if he was playing well. His problem the other night though was he kept hitting it back to Federer's forehand.

That, and his dumbass coach insists on him bulking up to try and play power tennis.

Yes, the modern game is heavily reliant on power. But Hewitt's strengths are speed and agility - stop trying to bulk him up and get him to overpower opponents ffs. It just won't work - specially as he is not getting any younger.

I don't hate him anymore

I think Hewitt's become more human of late, I used to dislike him, but I don't mind him anymore. I would have liked to have seen him win last night. It sucked that he lost in straight sets, particularly after the fight back he put up in the third, he broke back twice, would have been nice to see him take just that set.

But he cleaned up his act. I, for one, love watching him play - he just never gives up, even when his opponent is too good, like Federer.
