he isn't called the gnome for nothing :p

Good point lol.

I just never really realized it - that photo were Burty is behind him...Burty is a bit taller than him! Wow!

Mind you, I think photos can sometimes lie - I remember there was a photo last year in the paper of Hindy TOWERING over Ben Hannant. They were face-to-face and Hindy had a good couple of cm's over Benny. I always thought Benny was a bit taller.

...Wow, that was some sort of rant, huh?

It's a lot easier to judge height in real life than on TV. When I first saw Kimmorley at a live game I was pretty surprised too

Wait, what? You don't have regular Dance offs with Jamal Idris? All this time I thought what me and Jamal had was pretty regular, just a standard part of life. "Yo M-dawg, dance off at ANZ stadium this sat!! BE THERE" now I realise that we've really got something special. :)

hahahaha m-dawg. i wish it was a daily occurence. he is like joy in human form.

They are dumps, I ventured in there for the first time in years a few weekends back when I was home and remembered why I had not been in years. I have not been to Altitude for 10 years. No offence taken either, its a typical country town and all clubs in towns like this are terrible. I also go back and look around thinking where do all these drop kicks come from, I dont think I am ready to move back yet.

Where did you stay? I say a pic on Errohl that looked like you might have been at the Sandcastle or just next door at Town Beach.

yeh the Sandcastle! it was pretty.

yeh they were both places like 'i am not drunk enough to be here'

there is a sense of depression or desperation or something that really did my head in. actually reminded me of the last half hour of the Castle Hill Tavern nightclub back in the day when everyone was desperate to pick up urghhh

in other news, its that time of the month and i am walking around about to burst into tears for no reason. BEING A GIRL IS AWESOME.

I thought Altitude was much better then Orange for girls being desperate.
Last year there were swarms of ladies coming in to hassle them, this year there was only 3 or 4 i could see, and most attempts were quashed politely or in one case, accepted and the guy left with her.

Really the big group of players in the middle were left to their own conversation apart from a couple of photo requests (mostly by males btw - and mostly for Jamal) and were only approached for conversations when they went to the bar.

Also, and this was the big thing. That club EMPTIED once we arrived.. It was packed when we all got there, and once the boys got back, as you said there was noone on the dancefloor and you could walk straight up to the bar.
Tell me in Sydney, if word got out two rep teams were in the same bar that place would be CRAWLING with people looking to meet them or cause controversy?
