do they play Phoenix live? i haven't seen them since they released it... but it's one of my favs, too.

They do sometimes. I think since that was released I've seen them 6 or 7 times, they've probably played it 3 times or so. They didn't tonight though, but it was ok cos they went all out on stuff like Crave, One Second, Slow Descent, Take it Away, Gone, Reach, Before They Knew...all really high energy stuff. I dunno how Clint does it, it was a good two hours of him just going ballistic

i havent really got out to support aussie music in a long time... but i do remember the last time i did, it was to see Cog and a little band by the name of Karnivool blew us all away and completely stole the show. not sure if TBE were also playing that night... they may have been... there was definitely a 3rd band. i do remember that entry was a 10er, though. lol.

good times, for sure.

also, look out for a band called Full Scale Revolution (formally known as just Full Scale, amongst other things). that is assuming you're not already aware of them. saw them backing up Sunk Loto, 8 Foot Sativa and another band that i can't quite remember many years ago... but yeah Full Scale have recently reformed, and back in the day they f**king shredded it. very political, which doesn't really float my boat, but they are great live and the front man is quite charismatic. had a chat to him after the show while we were all out for a smoko, he was pretty convinced that we were gonna change the world. lol.

was great when Sunk Loto all chucked on knights jerseys for the second half of their set, too
