The immortals would have more credibility if it was an NRL sanctioned award not a magazine. A hall of fame seems more appropriate in my opinion.



Provan has to be the next immortal. He is half of the NRL trophy and won 10 grand finals. That says it all really. Hope Meninga never gets it, he doesn't deserve it. Bagged the game brutally in the SL war and said it never has done anything for him.

He made one comment talking about how the players of his era (and before) have been essentially excluded from the financial benefits the league generated, and he was right. He worded it poorly, but his sentiment was correct.

Is there any reason why we couldn't have Provan AND Summons both inducted as Immortals together? They are the face of our trophy after all, surely lil' Arthur deserves to be in there on that aspect alone
