If players read these posts, then it would not be ideal to read negative stuff about them prior to their biggest club game of the season. I really hope Ben Hunt finds form and playing at Suncorp where he has played most his life would be the best ground to do that.

i am fully aware of the shortcomings of our side and their mentor , their excruciatingly bad form over the last 8 weeks or so HOWEVER they are in the 2018 semifinals , so the sole purpose of this thread is quite simple - LETS GET BEHIND our team of Dragons for what may very well be their final remaining match of the season .

No negativity on this particular thread ( as hard as it may be ) shall we ALL refrain ourselves and see that for all of the good and bad that the boys in the Big Red V will once again be representing the St.Geroge Illawarra in the finals this year .

Finally as said by a number of our colleagues - we shall have plenty of time to point the finger and discuss our failures so far this season very soon , so at this point in time there is the slightest of chances that our team could be victorious on Sunday, then I for one will be supporting them . :innocent:

Good idea this thread. Like has already been said let's enjoy the build up to our long overdue finals game and hopefully some positivity will rub off on the the players. What will be will be.

Go Dragons.

Well said Slippery. - hopefully one or two may read the forum and the entire team will take some heart from our posts . All I am asking for is their very best efforts so as we can be proud of them .

I often think that when I read about Ben Hunt receiving criticism. I mean, all the criticism seems to be coming from the media - the forums are actually quite positive about him.

If they play with enough passion and pride in the jersey, they can do anything. Stuff the coach, im behind them 100% this Sunday and hope they can overturn all the odds.
In these big games, if you turn up ready to play and with the right attitude, you're a chance. So lets hope they bring it non stop ang go hard.
Up the Saints!
To think that halfway through the season we were on top of the ladder with a superior for and against stat that other teams would die for. And then ……………...

This time next week the Broncos will still be licking their forelocks not knowing what happened. The Dragons will see to it that the old fox has coached his last game. They will prove themselves bigger than Wayne, bigger than Suncorp and bigger than 50,000
Broncomaniacs. This will be one for the ages.

Listening to Matt Johns this morning and he thinks we are a genuine chance this weekend. Broncos dont enjoy the games that they are heavy favourites.
He convinced me(doesn't take much) we can win this thing!

Who will run on as right centre for the Dragons, Aitken or Lomax?

Look at it this weekend as a win/win scenario. if Saints lose there is a bigger chance Mary gets punted which is what most fans want, and the players get that 1 game finals experience which they will crave for next season. If the win, happy days as we will have a spring in our step next week and will fight to see another game hopefully 3 more.

Come on Saints, we can do it, we have won up there before, so its well and truly possible we will do it again.

Take revenge for the 1992 and 1993 GF losses and take revenge for the Broncos lucky semi final win in 2011.

Get up in their faces, work hard together, show lots of aggression, scramble in defence. Run hard, offload, second phase play, great kicking game and you know what.......Saints 24. Broncos 14. Can’t wait to celebrate.

Hunt
Fritzell

Best on ground.

Been a supporter all my life and will be till I die.
Been there for the good times and not so good times. That is the nature of the game.
I would never lower myself to bag any of our players. But with McIdiot it is open season on him.
Will be behind the boys this week win or lose

Typical. Wrong thread mate.

Anyways where were we?

How good was piggy at his best. Sheer force of will won that game. Taking the tap for the try. And then the audacity to go for goal.

I'll never forget his try celebration against the cowboys. Still can't believe he went to Parramatta of all places
