Sean Rudder was deadset the worst 5/8 I have ever bloody seen.

Most of the Knights fans I know could not stand the bloke.

He was crap even with Johns doing all the work for him. Why he was picked there week in and week out is beyond me.

Johns really doesnt have much of a wrap on rudder actually, neither johns does. As if they are going to make public an criticism of him.

Joey did not have a high opinion of him initially because the Knights gave him the 5/8 spot over his brother.
A move which actually gave them a grand final victory.
A very respected league person told me that Matt was let go because they thought that Joey would develop better with Rudder a long side him.

A ripping yarn that Michael Palin would be proud of. Joey was already pretty well developed by the time Matty left the club. Knights would have won in 2001 without Rudder. It was Kennedy and Johns that won the premiership for them.

Rudder can't play.
