Problem is that Simpkins was trying to do his best Bill Harrigan "hide my wistle" impersonation that he didn't have the balls to make any hard decisions.....the sooner everyone stops asking for refs to referee like Harrigan the better.....thats why I like Jason Robinson as a ref - he just refs it as he sees it - doesn't come in thinking "oh, I gotta not give too many penalties" - "oh, this team has a history of X, look out for it" etc etc

All in all, Queensland were screwed over. They were not screwed out of a win, but out of the possibility for a win, which is a big thing. If the right calls had have gone the right way (ie Queenslands way) they wouldn't have been blown off the park and they there would have been a grandstand finish
