I'm on Angry's side. Tigers game was a pretty average game, but I've seen plenty worse. At least we didn't leak points like a sieve.

Good post McSharkie, I agree with most of what you said

It certainly ranks as one of the very worst games I have ever seen
Not just the result, but the quality of play
Absolutely abominable

That game was a terrible result but not the worst game I have ever seen as Parra showed plenty of skill. Last night was 2 teams almost equally terrible. A game we should have won was lost through a terrible performance.

not true.
I gave anderson chance after chance to win me over.

Each time i gave in, he came out with something more ridiculous.

I am not expecting a top 8 finish this year. The damage is very deep.

The bigger picture is next year. :?:

This year is just fun.

Wait for the combos to start to form then criticise.

BTW The 10 m was awful both ways. A that directly lead to a boring game

That would have to be the worst round 1 performance that I have ever seen.

Two VERY important points need to be acheived before we can have on field success.

1. Get rid of the current Board.

2. Get rid of the current Coach.

I can't comment on 1 because that is up to the Members, but I know there is an excellant replacement waiting in the wings for point 2.

Only if you learn from that lesson Reefy, does it become positive, the lesson doesn't occur without the mistake though, and the mistake is most certainly negative. Enough of this philosophy though. We had a shocker, simple.

This is humour isn't it?

You want a new coach after round 1? Who is that and if he loses his first game does he then get replaced?

To be fair to the players and supporters, we should win a premiership this year. We were promised one within 3 years with the appointment of Anderson. So, understandably, no one wants this to be a rebuilding year. But to be honest, we all know that there's virtually no chance of taking out the premiership. Winning a few games and making the top 8 is the next best thing, although a poor second best to a premiership. Now, even though it's early days, there's the prospect of a 2003 repeat. It's understandable some supporters are very negative at the moment. Promised the world, delivered nothing. Although I'd like to be positive, I dread a repeat of last year.

Mediocrity, responsibility lays with those who tolerate it.

Overall there are another 6 disappointed team supporters out there, so we can take something out of the weekend and hope we can sneak up on the doggies next week.

McSharkie, Before a ball was kicked in anger I had grave concern about Raper being a "yes man". I do not beleive that Raper is capable of being the first Coach to win us a Premiership.

I would really like to see a brand new Board who has had no previous association with the Club AND a Coaching staff who has also had no prior history with the Club ala John Lang and Shane Richardson.
