has anyone heard about a possible contract dispute between us and Melbourne over Fui??

I saw it on the NRL thread, don't know what to make of it.

From SMH:
Fuifui Moimoi is the subject of a contractual dispute after signing with Melbourne, only for Parramatta to change their mind about releasing him.

If he could play 20 minutes straight then he would be valuable but he can't and thats after a full off season trainning and a full year under his belt. He is a damaging runner but he needs a blood transfusion from Hindmarsh or something.

I turned the Call team on for a sec on the weekend, and just caught the end of Fitzy on there.
From what I gathered, he said Fui had definetally signed a 1 year deal with us, but Fitzy said he didn't have any idea about the so called signing with Melbourne.
So who knows what's going on, Fui probably doesn't even know himself :?

Well, if he was dedicated enough and we were willing to train him until he just couldn't bear it anymore, he'd be a massive asset.

After watching the Grand Final, I got jealous and started thinking to myself, "Damn! I want Parra to have their very own version of Williams!" and Moi Moi might just be the Hitman we so desperately require.

Hmmm. Melbourne sounded definate that they had signed him. Les see how he goes next year after another offseason. He better start now if he wants to play for at least 40 min a game.

Good call 'Mentary.

While Hindy is the lifeblood of our team, he certainly isn't an intimidator in the ilk of a Williams or Morley or, in our history, a Pay. We need one of those in our pack to compliment the work that Hindy and Morrison will get through next year.

Yep our pack is full of workers but no1 who is really feared. Fui could most definalty provide that and could be a handy input to our squad if he could become a lot more fitter.

With Parra going into the game with a possible back row of Hindy, Morrison & Wags then all 3 could play 80 mins.

Moimoi's 20 min spurts could then come in handy.

Cannings hits hard, but not like a Hitman.

Tsoulos was putting on some big hits earlier this year before he got injured, as was Vella.

But I really think we need some young guy who constantly does it - Moi Moi, Backo and Mateo, not to mention Cannings and Tsoulos, are my nominations.

I heard Foi's manager on 2gb on sunday. He said that a contract was signed with melbourne a week ago. He then went away to NZ last week came back on the weekend and found out thru the grape vine that Foi had signed with us on wednesday - it sounds like his manager stitched up the melbourne deal but foi's signed another contract us without his manager knowing.......
