great test this friday night against 50uths.

they're capable of playing the style that moanly & penriff beat us with.

big forwards playing up-tempo & straight up the middle.

i hope creeping has answers because i f*cking hate being steamrolled in the engine room.

It is definitely a statement game for us considering how meekly we surrendered to them last year at around this time.

The Bye was well timed and I'm really hoping we come out blazing and really give it to them.

The next month will be a really good test. Bunnies, Titans, Broncos, Roosters etc are all there or there abouts but games I'd expect to win.

At the very least hopefully post origin our combinations should really start to click and build some momentum heading into the business end of the season.

A lot of people saying the comp is wide open with many teams a strong chance of winning the comp, but they nearly all agree that we are still the team to beat, and rightly so.

South feel hard done by in relation to their loss against Easts and will be looking to smash us up the middle and as it's already been said with Weyman and Hunt missing our pack will be tested
I think that Bennett will take a forward laden bench into the game
The saving grace is that without Luke, they may be a little more predictable and not as solid around the ruck themselves. High (and cheap) shots from Crocker may be a problem and our kicking game will need to keep them in their own half if we're to avoid Burgess causing damage in our red zone
Beau Champion will be shattered after his contribution to their loss last week and his game may well have significant effect on the outcome

Expecting a bottler of a game. But the problem with the hole Homebush is that even with an arm like Glenn McGrath you'd struggle to get a bottle near the playing field. Perhaps that's why 50uths moved out there.

Back on the game though, the South sydney right side defence has been leaking like a sieve for over a month now. Beau Champion specifically is a turnstyle. We'll be missing Coops and Morris but Darius should still find fertile ground that way with his new troops

I think they'll be a bit flat after last weeks game and the manner in which they lost. Can't see us losing back-to-back games.

I think they are entitled to feel a little hard done by after that easts game, considering in that set that led to easts getting the penalty to go in for the try that easts played the ball diagonally once, didn't even play it the next tackle, then bumped it forward the one after that, THEN got a penalty - I'd be pissed as well, almost looked as if the ref wasn't game to blow the whistle because of the clock.................
