it's a big leap from wanting someone to die the same way their father did, to saying someone lacks the mental faculties after lashing out at police oficers while getting written off at the horse races.

what are you doing defending someone from campbelltown anyway?

i think he was just trying to get the crowd involved, the cheerleaders were throwing stubbie holders, Morris was throwing game breakers.

Head if fit, should be the starting 7 for the rest of the season.

Only if Morris or Marshall are unavailable for the rest of the season.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but nothing was mentioned about "wanting Morris to die".

A joke was made in poor taste, yes, but it wasn't as you've made out.

I thought the statement was along the lines of "maybe his father isn't the only one with....."

I can't remember the disease.

More a joke in poor taste than an actual threat or serious wish.

There were plenty wanting Morris to `f**k off and die' in the top tier of the Dally Messenger stand after he threw that ball to us on Sunday arvo

I'm a pretty tasteless guy, and not a moral compass by any means.
but saying someone is a f**king genius, and specificly in singling out an illness that killed someones father and hoping they get it are on completly different levels.

anyway, Head for Half.

If that turd morris is picked ahead of Mat Head I hope we get belted and I hope we get belted by plenty. Maybe a few of the morons that have blind faith in our prick of a coach will wake up. Short term pain for long term gain

The illness was mentioned yes, and it was in poor taste I agree.

But it wasn't as you've made out.

In any case, I too hope we lose on Sunday if Head is punted. Sounds ridiculous (though not as ridiculous as dropping Head in the first place), but if thats what it takes to see Head as our permanent #7, then f**k...

Sheens will then blame marshall, hodgson, collis, or anyone else.
Not once has he given a serve to morris in a press conference and he has given it to Head in the press 2 weeks in a row. He'd prefer blow smoke up his failed turd's arse than do what's best for the team and pick a great and proper halfback in Head.

If this were Europe and a star like HEad was punted for f**king dross like Morris there'd be demos and all, anti morris chants during the game. If sheens won't move him, maybe fan power is needed. It's worked at far bigger institutions than the Man U of the NRL

IF Farah is fit, Morris to 1/2 and head is out
Who in the world would have john morris ahead of matthew head ?
One is a complete spastic and the other is utter class

If/when Farah and Benji are both fit, and if Morris really has to be in the side, it'd be best I reckon to have
4-Morris
5-Lawrence
6-Marshall
7-Head
9-Farah

and dump McDonnell

And if Collis and Halatau were to play in the centres, shift Morris to the bench, where he would be much more useful

I wouldn't like Morris in the centres unless he had an excellent rapport with his winger. He rushes out of the line too frequently when he defends three or four in, and if he were to do that against some of the good centres, he'd get burnt every time.

Bottom line for me is there are too many question marks on his reading of the game defensively to stick him at such a critical position.

His only position is as utility on the bench if we're at full fitness, and that's only if Halatau doesn't get a starting centre spot (which seems unlikely as McD has reclaimed his wing spot).
