got absolutely drenched last night but had a ball. Shame the weather didn't hold out because I reckon we could have got 7-8k but it wasn't to be.

Awesome goal by Payne, that kid is special no doubt, same with David Williams. I hope the Fury survive, I can't believe the FFA want to cull us.

How good was being at the game!!

6000 were pre sold alone, imagine if it hadnt started sh*tting down at 6pm!! What an absolute monsoonal like downpour at the worst possible time!!

Interesting to see two young forwards who Sydney let go in Chris Payne and Kerem Bulut (at the AFC u19 championships ftr) both starting to blossom. Payne and Williams seem to have a pretty good combination going. The defenders definitely gave Payne way too much time and space for his goal but that doesn't detract from how well struck that was, absolutely unstoppable.

Shame that the rain kept the crowd down, but you guys have a lot of home games coming up. Do the Fury get much promotion up there? Build up some momentum in the first few home games and I guess you could attract some pretty good crowds.

Sydney didn't want Bulut to go, Weasel. We tried to keep him but he wanted to go overseas.

Once it was known he was going overseas, Lavicka got him a trial with his club. The kid is one of our best prospects.

P.S Timmah - nobody rates CCM because of Arnold.

The FFA are trying to keep the Fury alive. If any team should be culled, it should be the Gold Coast. They're an embarrassment to the League......I'd love to have Caravella and Traore too.
