Ahhh see, in Newcastle, our crowds are down, but there is coverage. ABC Radio up here do EVERY Jets game, and there is also a fair bit of coverage in the papers. All we need is for the crowds to increase and everything will be hunky dorey :D

Marconi was never going to get in. One of the main points of the new league was to separate itself from the ethnic past of the NSL. If you want to still support Marconi then get out and watch them in the NSWPL

Roar have done very well given their game is in competition with the live coverage of the Wests vs. Brisbane clash. They got a shade over 15,000 according to the A-League website.
I tell you what, I went to that game with chileboy#1 and it certainly looked alot more than 15,444....great atmosphere and a great stadium to watch soccer at! Friday night, expect 20000 with the Dwight York drawcard!

The last thing you would want to see is the Stallions in the A-League. You could totally say goodbye to a lot of Sydney supporters then.. They had to start afresh.

Will be good to see how the crowds go after the finals. I for one think they will pick up - though we are very much football - winter, cricket - summer over here.

but there are alot of people who'd rather watch something other than cricket during the summer
