Knob!

For the growth of the game NZ has to be there, they can only improve cant do any worse than they did last season.

NZ should grow the game in their own backyard.

They aren't good enough and never will be. Have you seen their squad? Utter garbage. Of course no one is going to go and watch, they don't even express a desire to sign any Kiwis.

Why should we give a toss if the game grows in NZ. We aren't even in your confederation anymore. They are a joke.

lol you mean Aus took the easy route by joining the Asia Conf becuase FIFA keep on shafting our Confederation.

Then why would you give a toss.

I agree and we do have some great talent that the knights management keep ignoring. But you only get better by playing in a strong comp and for now thats the A-League.

Took the easy option? The Asian Confederation is so much better than OFC it is not funny. I won't go into the benefits we are going to receive, since it appears you have no real understanding of what you're on about. There should be a team from Honiara in before NZ, since they are no the top Oceanian team :D

FFS... I'm not about to glorify or degrade the Knights chances... because quite frankly like 95% of the arm chair critics in here, I haven't the feintest who half the players are or their qualities. You lot remind me of going on a booze bus for three weeks straight without telling the wife and then coming home... nag nag nag nag nag nag nag, did you do this, did you do that, this is what I think you did, you'll regret this, you know what your problem - FFS just shut the f*** up.

The Knights are a whole new team, it'll need a few more weeks to determine whether they are sh*t or decent.

As for NZ, we'll recapture Oceania.

I hope the Knights succeed, as it reflects badly on the whole competition if they don't. They will go alot better than last year, they have signed some quality players and should do half decently. Still don't think they should be in it, oh well.

That's the thing - the basis of whether you think they should be in the comp or not stems I think from where you've come from. That's fine. No dramas.

The questionable BS posted on here that is both infuriating and narrow minded is the criticism of the team. 1 pre-season game. That's all. Half these nevilles wouldn't know whose in the Knights team - for that matter, I don't know either. All I know is it's practically a near full clear out, and after the cr@p dished up last year, that's fine with me. And given that, I'll wait and see what performances they dish up, rather than fantasy land second guess on player's practically none of us really know about. Aside from 3-4 players in the A-League, I don't know any of them or their exploits, and I don't pretend to - the sad thing is, I'm not alone yet some of them love to give it to the Knights squad of 2006/07 who have played... get this.... 1 ...1... that's right, ONE... O..N..E game. I look forward to their comments on the Ullaroo Merekats under 6's La Crosse team who they also probably have no idea who plays for them but regardless doesn't seem it will stop them rabidly tearing into them or senselessly supporting them.

I had some coin on the Kiwis... the $3 for the win was attractive, seeing as Newcastle barely have a roster.
That crowd is appaling though, in all honesty.

Apparently the Knights lost their entire membership list on the computer, and not even members knew the game was on. I certainly didn't know it was on.

Pretty f**king incompetent, if true.

3 draws on the trot.

A much better pre-season from the looks of it for the Knights.
