I love rugby league and have nothing but the upmost respect for these warriors that put there bodies on the line to give us entertainment. This is just tragic.

My old man died suffering dementia. It was not induced by CTE.
Caring for Dad almost killed Mum
It fell on me to transport him to full time care.
Only time I ever saw him cry when I told him he wasn't going home (Not so bluntly). Broke my heart
It is an insipid, miserable end, that is undeserved.
All good TSSorry to hear mate.
With all due respect I don’t think the NRL have buried their heads in the sand , far from it. Rule changes for one.The NRL needs to do something to assist these ex-players and their families to manage their lives in situations like this.
They simply cannot continue to bury their heads in the sand or just pick and choose the things they want to support.
It's just not good enough...
I don't disagree but I think they could do more to help sufferers and their families like this case for example. With all due respect I don’t think the NRL have buried their heads in the sand , far from it. Rule changes for one.
