Infact funny enough!! for various reasons I've actually been to both training seccions in the past 18 months or so and have seen both facilities!! and not surprising If I was a player I know where I'd rather be playing lets just just say that Aaron made a very wise career move. ;-)

Yeah!! everyones entitled to an opinion. they may be right or wrong only time will tell.

But I can imagine "holla" being one of those Prix when proven wrong on a number of occasions goes missing like the worm he is. As for Vella!! well his achieved more in the game of Rugby League then would you would ever dream off. So he's probably heard or read all of it before from "knobs" like you.

Realed in a big bite this time
Vella is soft and he is the one who goes missing on most occasions[check 2001 GF - only noticed him sitting on the bench].Hes probably heard and read it from all over the place because .... uuummmm...so many have said it and wrote it!
Cannings is.. was and always will be slow and useless.I dont think 3xloser of a coach can get anything uot of him

OH MY GOD....JOEY LIVES

I have a strong feeling Cannings has representive potential & could really develop his game more so with the superiour training methods we have at Parra then what Manly had last year!...
Firstly     , how do u justify that claim, did u regularily attend Manly and Parra training sessions

Secondly, Cannings DOES NOT like to start, he himself prefers to come off the bench as he feels he plays better off the bench

Oh gee   ......Manly fans just won't let it go!!.

Just look at your defensive record last season and that explains everything!!...your side was that flat i could break wind and your players would fall over!!

Cannings may well prefer the bench....however from viewing pretty much all of his games this year he seemed to play better when starting.

Let go of what?????
i wasn't having a go at anyone, unlike u who likes to have a dig at Manly for no reason at every chance u get, and just because we had a poor defensive record doesn't mean our training facilities are worse than urs

as for Cannings, he started the year off the bench and was tearing teams apart, then he began starting and didn't quite have such an effect, so he asked to be benched because he disliked starting and felt he played better if he came on after the initial bash & barge. now things might have change since than i don't really know
and i'm not here trying to diminsh cannings talent because he left or start a Manly Vs Parra b*tchfight i just came in to add a bit of insight into the thread, from someone who saw everyone of Cannings games last year

U really do hate Manly, u just jumped all over a Newie fan (duh) because he said vella is soft, and then taught him a lesson by b*tching about Manly

why don't u try something and talk objectively about the subject at hand rather then have potshots at other fans (eg claimng holla is gay because his a fan of joeys  )

as for parra's front row

Cayless (C)
Morris
Vella (yet another chance)

Cannings
Tsoulos/Armit

No i don't!......you no the forum rules?......someone bag's your side you have to give to em 8) ..only problem is he's a Newcastle fan

I was just making a suggestion as he asked why he had joey listed on his sig??......there's many attractive footy players out there....a gay mans paradise

Now on to more important things.

I think Cannings will start with Cayless & Morris at hooker.....i won't rule out Hopkins as a chance at hooker either.

No many Manly fans are making sarcastic comments about Cannings ever since he left Manly to Parra.....this is what i was eluding too!

It's just funny how people's opinions change about a player's football talent once they decide to leave there club....im not suggesting your thougths changed but a majority of Manly fans opinions have suddenly changed.

Manly players where flat last season!...IMO this comes down to 2 things mentally & physically not up it!!....the fittest sides are always the most succesfull sides am i right??...look at Manly from 95-97?.....you cannot tell me under Bozo they weren't the fittest side around!, don't worry i think things will be alot better under Hasler as his strong training ethic's is highly widely recongised!

very true, likewise players become alot better when they sign with ur team, it happens with everyone

and i do remeber earlier in the year alot of Parra fans were claiming that Kane Cleal was THE outstanding young prop at parra

Very true "Disco" And I still think he's a great prospect. However he lost me earlier this year when he was belted not once but three times in three seperate tackles by Bryce Gibbs [Tigers] then like his old man used to do, went missing on one of the wings because it got too hot in the kitchen for him.

I believe his old man still keeps in contact with some old touch judges and Wingers he played with and against. infact I'm lead to believe he got to know them quite well.

Yeah there where a few!

I think with Kane's situation is that even if he did stay he'd be right down in the pecking order...besides Cannings, Vella & Cayless we also have outstanding talent comming through in Armit & Tslous & then you could throw in Adam Peek who was outstanding for us in the latter part of this year!

Kane is a good player....and should do well for Manly.
