Aaron Cannings Vs Michael Vella

Cannings primarily came off the bench with the eagles. The role a player plays when moving to a new club and how he fits into different team dynamics can change quite remarkably. I would initially logically think the starting Props will remain Cayless and Vella with Cannings used off the bench.

Then again Smith has never shown logic in many of his team selections in the past 12 months.

I still say that we bought Pearson for a reason, and that is to start the game and soak up (and dish out) the tough stuff. (The type of role that Vella 2001 would do.)

I heard that vella attended a wedding on 18 October, and was introduced at the reception as the FORMER Australian and FORMER nsw prop, and then made to stand and take a bow!

Vella and Cannings off the bench, trying to hold keep their spots under pressure from Tsoulos and Armit as the year goes by.

Actually i agree,

Pearson was brought i'd say for experience & to soak up & dish out at the start of the game.....i actually forgot all about him.

I doubt Pearson is really a bench player & if so perhaps both Cannings & Vella to the bench.

Pearson also came to Parra to learn the tricks of trade :? in regards to coaching....apparently he'd like to become a coach after this season.
