There's always something to have a cry about with dragons players and fans when they lose the derby.
Boo hoo
A pissed bloke said some mean words
Wah Wah
The old guy cut up a jersey
Sniff sniff
They broke our fence
Cry cry
Someone poured beer on us

Just cop it
Piss poor derby efforts deserve a gob full

:)

kindergarten kids keep asking me if I have won a premiership! cry cry.

lol

A bit of banter around a derby is great, but really they should leave families etc out of it for both fans and players.

Awful to hear about this story, and I'm sure the Sharks will do everything they cant to try and find the culprit, and prevent anything like this in the future.

It's a shame that there are these wankers dragging down the name of league fans. Leaving the ground on Sunday afternoon there was a drunk numbnut giving it to a dragons couple leaving. Nothing too bad, but definitely nearing on over the line. I told the guy to piss off and had a chat to the couple (to calm the bloke down who was nearing on decking the bloke).

Some people just can't handle themselves in public, and they should be discouraged at every opportunity.

Quality post.

It can happen anywhere but I guess players should be able to expect some level of security at grounds when walking to their vehicles. Sad reflection on a minority of RL fans and society that it's needed but clearly it is. Never understood it myself, they are just people entertaining us at the end of the day. Drunken prcks will act like drunken prcks ether at the game, at the pub or at home in my experience.

The issue is clearly the shitty facilities. If players have to come in contact with the public to exit the ground, then there should be ample security for them. Sounds like there was no security in this instance. This doesnt happen at most grounds.

Haha
I have seen the dragons warm up across the road from oki in a school ground or something
Thousands of people walking past them
Plenty giving them shit.
f**k all security

As a Sharks fan I have verbally abused someone after a game, but never when his kid was present.
It was an ugly reporter with a big red face. You see him and you just can't help yourself

People that go to the footy to get pissed are a weird breed. Fair enough have one or two and enjoy the game. If you're buying trays of the shit for yourself you've got problems.

To the guy giving it to the player walking out with his wife and kid, give yourself an uppercut. Poor form when you're a drunken mess swearing in front of a two year old.

Poor argument mate this hasn't happened for many years, we moved to a more secure scenario for the players and officials. Like most teams, players shouldn't have to deal with being directly in the face of supporters its sadly its the way society is now and there's always a dickhead looking to do some damage.

My bad sorry, its Joels fault

You are blaming the club because he came in contact with some pissed dickhead
You also conveniently over look the fact he parked his car in the car park with everyone else.

If he caught the team bus it wouldn't have happened.

Besides
Players have to walk past the public at just about every ground they play at at some stage.
To try and say this is isolated to the great southern cross group stadium is idiocy .

Come on mate stop being so overprotective, I haven't said this is isolated at all to your club at all, Im just implying times are different these days and I definitely did not conveniently look over the fact he parked his in the car park with everyone else. Using the team bus excuse is about as weak as the human being that threatened to piss on his car, you and i cant assumed it would/wouldnt of still happened
