AC/DC’S BLACK ICE WORLD TOUR
AUSTRALIAN DATES CONFIRMED
FEBRUARY & MARCH 2010
TICKETS ON SALE MONDAY 25TH MAY, 2009

AC/DC the greatest rock and roll band on the planet, who have sold over 200 million records worldwide, return home to Australia in February 2010 as part of the Black Ice World Tour.

It will be the band’s first Australian tour since January 2001 and will - without any question - produce the most spectacular rock shows ever staged in this country.

Joining AC/DC on the Black IceAustralian tour as special guests is the Grammy and ARIA Award winning band Wolfmother.

AC/DC will blast their way through each of the five major capital cities where they will appear at outdoor stadiums with one of the largest stage productions ever seen. The production will be moved around the country by 48 semi-trailers during February and March 2010.
Tickets for this Rock and Roll EXTRAVAGANZA go on sale on:
Monday 25th May, 2009
There will be two ticket prices: $99 and $149.90

Dates on the Black Ice world tour in the US and Europe have sold out virtually as quickly as they were announced and the performances themselves have left the critics raving:
“AC/DC remain the gold standard for arena spectacle rock’n’roll.”
The Times (UK)
“Rock ‘n’ roll that outlasts time.”
“It’s been way too long since someone tore the roof off the place like this.”
Orange County Register (LA)

The Australian tour comes on the back of the release of the hugely successful Black Ice album. Released on October 20, 2008 on Albert Productions and distributed by Sony Music, Black Ice sold close to 2 million copies globally in the first week of release and debuted at the number one spot in a staggering 29 countries.

Black Ice is AC/DC’s first new album in over eight years and it’s evident the band is still an incredible force in rock.

Black Ice has been certified Multi Platinum in eighteen countries, including the US, Australia, Canada, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, Germany, France, Italy, Argentina and the Czech Republic.

Additionally Black Ice has achieved Platinum status in five countries (including the UK and Spain) and Gold status in four countries (including The Netherlands, Poland and Brazil). With over 6.5 million copies of Black Ice shipped worldwide, combined with over 5.5 million in catalogue sold last year, AC/DC has surpassed The Beatles as the #1 selling catalogue artist in the US for 2008.

Don’t miss the rock event of the decade which is heading to Australia in February and March 2010!

It's actually next year but point taken.. Unless of course Metallica make it out here next year as well of course

Brisbane is at the old QEII stadium.. Cr@p place to get to and from and a sh*te venue all round really.

I was hoping for the Ent Cent or Acer Arena tbh. Not a fan of outdoor venues.

But, with age taking it's toll I guess we can be fair to the guys. It'd be a sh*tload easier, plus a greater benefit financially, to do one gig for 80K rather than 3 X 10K gig's.

look for another 2 shows in Sydney to go on sale after the first one sells out..there's been more interest on the show than there are tickets available for the 1 show.

Last time i saw them was in the mid 90s at the Ent Cent. They made us wear these pink slave chains around our wrists when we wanted a drink. Fkn nazis lol. But ACDC were just awesome. I couldnt hear jack sh*t for months, especially after the 9 cannons on stage, going off in a row. When Angus came out of the floor behind me on this pillar that rose out of the floor, doing the opening guitaring to TNT (i think !!) where I thought that if I died i could die happy after seeing that :)

Got tickets through a hospitality company in a package.

I was on the site for over half an hour continually refreshing, then wouldn't you know it I get into the site and start looking for available tickets. It keeps saying certain ones are sold out/ unavailable even though on the right it's saying there are tickets available in the various categories.

I managed to select 2 tickets and it takes me to the page where I enter my member details, I am typing in my password when the screen brings up a 'Session timed out' message due to 'inactivity'. WTF did they think I was doing there? FMD. They can go and f**k themselves, bunch of motherless c**ts.
