Brian Johnson is an awesome singer, without him Back in Black and Thunderstruck wouldnt be as good.

I think his voice has changed quite a bit, I noticed it when they released Ballbreaker. Different to the early 80s stuff.

A bit like Jimmy Barnes.

imo the problem was when Bon died, they went from being a good old fashioned blues/boogie/rock n roll band ......to a rock anthem band, where the vocals are screamed rather than sang

i have heard a few tracks of Geordie (Brian Johnstons Band before AC/DC) over the years.....and he has a good Rock n Roll voice....when he is singing rather than screaming

.....and when the original drummer Phil Rudd left they had Rock Drummers playing who just played straight out Rock Music with no Roll.....when Phil Rudd rejoined imo they had the original sound back to a certain extent.......because Phil Rudd mixes swings and shuffles with his drumming as well as the Rock n Roll
