Judgement on Doogs reserved until he plays against quality opposition. Those blokes standing in front of him last week wearing Titans jumpers were imposters. Good luck to the old boy.

Are you seriously saying we should be picking Pete over MacDougall in the centres?

Would you have made Simmo "earn" his spot last year when he came back from his injuries?
RE: Picking Pete over Doogs in the centres, in the current climate - ie before yesterday's game, I would have had Pete on the bench and kept Lulia in the centres.

I guess I just prefer to see the younger blokes getting a go over an older, I won't quite say "has been", but I'm sure you get the point.

As for the question about Simmo, I pretty much thought the same thing about him too ...

Personally I'd be saving Doogs for the dogs game, and you'd think he'd also want to play against lol@50uff$

Is Sau injured? Looked like he was getting his thigh strapped in the 2nd half yesterday. Just took him off as a precaution because the game was done and dusted?

And I didn't get the chance to watch all of the game, but how did MacDougall go defensively? There was one soft try down his edge that I noticed, but that was down to Uate not sticking with his opposite number.

Aku could have done better, but if he stayed with his man on the wing the same player strolls in untouched... There was an overlap so he had to jam in and leave the winger, just should have hit the centre who scored.

Mad Dog is the man for our run to the finals. I will love watching every second of his career swansong, and him laying tries on a platter for Uate. He will be missed once he leaves, and even though he is a divisive character, he is ours, he will go down in Knights folklore, and he is a lot of fun to cheer on.

I could not agree more

Justin Hodges doesn't have to earn his spot after an injury JD. Some players are simply the best selection despite who they are coming in for and these decisions are made by blokes who are paid to know what they are doing ie Rick Stone

Exactly right, quality players that have proven themselves on many occasions, always deserve more chances to show their importance to a team then any fringe/improving first grader.Maybe age+injuries=longer time to hit form, yes i know its mad dog but i think he is our best option individually and for his combination with Uate
