Portsmouth fire Tony Adams after less than four months in charge
PORTSMOUTH have sacked manager Tony Adams after less than four months in the job according to British media reports.
The club have not responded to the reports that Adams was fired following Pompey's 3-2 loss at home to Liverpool.

Adams took over from Harry Redknapp in October and has won only two of 16 league matches and none since November.

The club currently find themselves fighting to stay alive in the premiership and only one point clear of the relegation zone.

That's unlucky, he really hasn't had that much to work with, and they played out of their skin against Liverpool and really were unlucky to lose that match.

That said, why you'd hire a manager whose only prior experience in management was getting Wycombe relegated from League One I have no idea.

Shouldn't have been in the job that quick tbh. As Skeepe said, his prior experience was minimal at best.
