yeah if I was management I’d be scrutinising his situation pretty hard. If it’s genuine then make sure they come out of it with some advantage- preferably a hefty transfer fee, and the Warriors certainly shouldn’t be paying him anything for the rest of his contract.

But when your team just come out of a season of near record crowds, run 4th and finished one game from the GF and have created a nationwide buzz around them and players are still trying to wriggle out of contracts it’s a huge kick in the guts.

Yeah I remember when he was signed I had a lot of misgivings on character grounds. But he’s kept his nose clean and delivered on the field so up until now the signing had obviously proved a good one.

Who knows what's really going on inside his head but the fact is he's currently in the UK, with all those Tongan-turncoat mates, and we can only imagine how they're all carrying on.
