actually.....I'm not sure if goal difference counts, so if we beat thailand we may go thru on head to head.

hey fish eel can you explain how that works, i caught what the commentators were saying but it went straight over my pea brain lol

So say Oman beat Iraq and we beat Thailand, we'd all be on 4 points. Who'd go through and why

that was not Lucas neil that i saw out there that used too play for blackburn and australia wtf did west ham do too him

I tottally agree JCN1F. The sc*m have f**ked another perfectly great player up. Neill and the rest of the defence has been c*aptastic so far.

We need something special from them against Thailand.

And feel sorry for Schwarzer! Doesn't deserve to have such shocking defence infront of him.

I think how it works is straight head to head.

we beat thailand 1-0, we both finish on 4 points, but we finish ahead of thailand because we beat them. goal difference doesnt matter

If I am not mistaken then points difference will come into play. In that scenario. If Iraq won and we beat Thailand we have a better head to head record against Thailand boosting ourselves into the Quarter Finals.

But fishy, if oman wins each team has won, lost and drawn against a respective team. so does pts diff then come into play?

Give the jersey's to all the guys who travelled over there to watch this tripe.

At least those motherf*kers will play with passion.

Any of you idiots want to defend Kisnorbo now? HAHAHA!

The bloke is a f**king spastic and quite possibly the worst player ever to don the green and gold. A national f**king embarassment. For those of you who don't know, this is the bloke who embarassed himself against the Solomon Islands a few years ago.

Time for the Neill love-in to stop as well. He was a disgrace tonight, and he should be punished internally for that red card. Instead of whinging and b1tching and complaining to the ref, how about you try and tackle, idiot.

Neill had an absolute shocker...

What was he doing when he kicked it into the back of the Iraqi which led to the 3rd goal??

f**k the Iraqis the diving scum. How can you build pressure when you concede a free kick every time you challenge for the ball?
And can we please try passing, instead of hoofing like a spastic League Two team? FMD.

I've never before been embarassed by a Socceroos' performance. Tonight did it. Absolutely f**king atrocious. I can't help but think that the key difference between the side that pushed Italy a year ago in the World Cup and the side that was beaten soundly by Iraq last night is coaching - but Arnold can only do so much with the limp wristed, soft as sh*t cowards who currently wear the Socceroos' jersey.
