yeah i think if we can beat Japan on Saturday night we'll make the final. Can't see the Saudis, or those assholes Uzbekistan beating us. I'd love to see an Australia vs Iran final.

Mrs Thorpe, the Saudis won't win.

I think they're a good choice as a dark horse. While Uzbekistan, Iraq, and Vietnam are deservedly below them in terms of predictions, I just wouldn't be surprised to see Saudi Arabia jag a few upsets on their way. They've got some brilliant players (Yasser El Quatani in particular) and their tournament form has been up there with Iran's in terms of quality.
