AFL judicary off to a bad start

How did James Hird get away with his strike on a St Kilda player on the weekend. It appeared twice as bad as Lloyds! And then Essendon try to use Hird as a character witness for Lloyd! After Hird has put his arm through the head of an opponent on the weekend.

If Hird wins the Brownlow, i will be soo disapointed as this is one award i reall believe in, but will lose faith in it real quick!!

Yeh i'm bitterly disappointed at the way the unpires do not give richo any free kicks at all! In Round 1 when we played (And beat) Collingwood, if we touched any collingwood player (cough, cough Nathan Buckley) they got a free kick without question, richo gets pulled, pushed, hit, hung onto (right in front of the white maggots) and what does he get? Jack Sh1t.
And in other games, i watched the GF rematch tonight and the goal umpire was shocking, the ball missed the goals by 2 meters, clearly a point, and he gave a goal. It would have stuck until the field umpires saw he replay and quickly changed it . . .

I wonder what the AFL's decision will be regarding Hird's comments on the Footy Show.

We all love to hate the white, organge, yellow maggots, but is the Footy Show the right forum to air grievances against them? I'm thinking James is regretting his comments now.

The ball was out of play and Thompson charged Hird so if anyone should have gotten suspended it should have been Thompson for charging.

And I don't want to start on the Crawford decision, give me strength! If you're going to ping that, then you need to start pinging at least half a dozen players from every match, just for the sake of consistency!
