What the feck do you think the R in NRL stands for?

I prefer it when they use it in a combination with what the L stands for.

You're in Adelaide, yeah? You should be at pains to point out that what is colloquially known as just "rugby" isn't Rugby League, because I know how many dolts over there, as in Victoria and WA, don't know any different.

It's because they"re too ill-informed to know any better. To anyone with a working brain, the differences between League and Union are quite obvious.

Yeah true, it happens in the UK as well when they fall in the habit of calling it Rugby colloquially as well.
