I'll be honest, I'm the same as the first poster. I hate AFL, much like I hate union, didn't stop me playing Jonah Lomu for years. If the AFL game was fun to play, I'd consider it - but it'd need to be really fun to play.

but yeah, i wouldnt be caught dead watching the sport, but i just love sport games. they are my passion. i never watch soccer, yet i enjoy fifa games

My dix big enough to admit to watching all codes, sport is sport & beats most tv/movies no matter what shped ball they use. So re the game, I hired it to try & after a half dozen games or so I'm not sure. It's not a game to just picj up & play straight away like Fifa, the controls are fairly extensive BUT once you work the rucking out it gets substanially less frustrating. Visually it's ok but not ground breaking, bottom line is True Blu had their hands on it so you know EXACTLY what is about to be seen! Not played online yet, figured I need to be a bit more solid in a few more basics yet.

All in all I don't mind it so far. Would I fork out the big dollars, HELL NO, but as a rental to pass some time, for sure.

I'm waiting on the two rugby games due this year, I was going to pick this afl game up.. Figured I need something to keep me occupied until la noir, although from what I've read and seen the game seems too buggy.

I won Motorstorm Apocolpyse in a competition, and wasn't a fan of that game, so I traded it in, and picked this game up for $31.

I like it. As much as I hate to say it, but the company has done a hell of a lot better on this game than the RL games.

As it was mentioned above, the ruck is frustrating, but when you get the hand of that, it makes it alot more easier.

Lol ea is releasing a rugby game along with sidhe. One is bound to be semi playable and both are due in august.

I hope they continue making league games, just wish it wasn't so... You know like a cow turd.

From what I gather is that EA will be a better game, but not so many team licences. Sidhe will be the shit game, with tons of team licences.

Well gameplay wise, ea rugby 08 was pretty good. I actually enjoyed that game. I can't say that about any sidhe products though! I've been reading a fair bit from sidhe, still talking the same crap about the competition whilst avoiding anything to do with there own tittle.
