From afl.com.au

"Brisbane Lions coach Leigh Matthews was left to rue wayward disposal after his side led for long period"

PPPPPPPFFFFFFFFFFTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT

Look at the scoreboard ... HOW MANY GOALS DID RICHMOND MISS?

Count your blessing Lethal.

GO TIGERS!

Pretty gutsy win for the Pies yesterday. Decided to head to the "G" rather than down to watch my local team play and wasn't disappointed.

That bald headed umpire sucked too.

Well done, AuckMel.

Impressive win by the Pies who were totally friendless in the lead-up to the match, but showed the sort of grit and desperation that took them to two recent GFs.

There's plenty of life left in the wooden spoon contest yet.

Great effort also by the Tigers.

Are almost injury free and have all stars playing to the very best of their ability.

Will be a handful for anyone as long as Richardson stays fit.

Brisbane are as good as gone...

I was predicting this regularly last season, before they firmed late for one last run at history.

With their list aged and tired, and the four in a row opportunity gone, they just look slow and wanting for the desperation that comes with being deprived of success and hungry for it.

Essendon:( Watched the first quarter before going to sleep, we were playing well.
Least Sydney won. I had 0/5 tips after yesterday.

And the CATS just get better and better, that should pay the Roos back for the preseason beating they gave us.

Wasn't a game, it was a shame.

Hawthorn... clap clap clap! Hawthorn... clap, clap, clap!Fantastic win to the team, in one of the most difficult assignments on the schedule.

Won every quarter, Williams continued along his merry Coleman leading way, and Hodge (as I suggested during the week) surely sliced his hefty Brownlow odds with another fabulous match high 30 possession game.

Next week's match with Collingwood should be a red hot contest.

On Geelong, Twizzle has every right to be happy. For mine, they are the best side in the competition right now. Going great guns!

Yeah Geelong going pretty bloody well.

Was this round hard to tip or what!!???? Richmond did have a good run with injurys but with Bowden and Tambling going out it might hurt us a bit. But it also gives a chance to players like Jackson and Hartigan to come in next week (if fit and selected) and hopefully they will fill the holes...
i'll be getting my tickets tomorrow for the big friday night game Melbourne Vs Richmond seen it'll be a sellout (fans jumped on bandwagon  )

Hawthorn always looked like they had a few more wins in them for the year, which should keep them from getting the spoon this year. I feel it'll be between Essendon/ Carlton/ Collingwood... isnt it funny... my three most hated clubs.

Christmas has come early :D

Bowden out will hurt us more than most think.

Richmond  won a Round 9 match & Collingwood, Essendon & Carlton are by far and away the three worst teams in the comp ... :D What more can you honestly say? :D

Well done certainly to the Hawks Kev. They may still drop more than they win but that is a real character building win that the club can use over the next few years... "What do we have to fear if we can win at Subiaco?"

Twizzle ... You'd wanna say Geelong are home already. They just look THAT much better than everyone else. Especially at Kardinia Park. I am fearful of our Round 22 clash down there. An 80 point hiding heading into the finals is not an enticing prospect.

In saying all this, St Kilda looked home when 10-0 last year.......

(Geelong are far superior to them though)

Hartigan won't play.

The "ins" will be between Staff, Jackson (Will almost certainly play) and Raines.

If Staff comes in, Schulz may go out - Too tall.

Although I must say ... If I was Terry, Tivendale would be playing for Coburg.

I've finally dropped my support for him after several disgraceful efforts on Saturday night.

Just on this ... I am really pissed off at this game. Can you explain to me why the f**k Richmond and Melbourne are playing each other @ TD ?!?! :x

I know it's a Dees home game but WTF?!

Although I have a vague memory of playing them there last year as well? Maybe i'm wrong, I've blotted a hell of a lot of last year out of the memory bank lol

It's disgusting nonetheless.

Yeah, i've been talking about this with a number of other pissed of richmond supporters on the tiges forum.

Its pathetic that on a friday night blockbuster, two big teams have to play at TD.
I'ld be even more pissed off if i was a Melbourne supporter, now having to buy tickets even if you already have a membership for the whole year.. and the only reason they have to buy tickets is because its at Telstra, if it was at the MCG they would save $$$, see better footy (not players slipping over at every contest) have better parking (at the ground) and the list goes on.

If it is raining, then it'll make it a little bit better.. but really Richmond Vs Melbourne at Telstra dome.... doesnt sound right.
I cant remember where we played them last year... i though it was at the G though.

Tiva was pretty bad, but i think we can keep him in the side. I'ld expect Staff in for Schulz and Jacko in for Bowden.

How long till Hartigan will be playing for Coburg? he seems alright at training (though only doing laps)

Or a Richmond member with an $270 18 game Adult ticket who has to buy :(

What tigers forum?! lol

Mate, I have supported Tiva for a long time... But it's time he had a spell.

I wouldn't be suprised to see Harts plays at some level for Coburg this week. I would be shocked to see him come straight back into senior footy.

You thought that the roar and song at the casino was good, you should have been at the Gabba and listen to when we hit the front in the final 5 minutes. Never heard a roar any louder from opposition supporters at the gabba. Even the song at the end was great. Been travelling up to gabba games for 10+ years. Even at the after match function, Wallace commemnted on it.
Being able to stick it up queenslanders on that night was great.
Just missed out on getting sugar's ball too. Bugger.
