He was pretty good for the most part.

If he didn't do something silly a game, it's just wouldn't be Rylsey!

That is literally his first major f**k up of the year. Against you merkins! ARGH :fist:
Not sure what happened to him today.

A great player, and seemed to have all that sh*t out his of system after his stint in Europe.

Makes some fantastic inroads but wrecks it all with a silly penalty in the next ruck.

A case of trying too hard? Coming up against his old club and the coach drilled that into him...?

Who knows.

Me.

It's clear that he's been one of the top 5 buys this year. He'd be extremely handy coming off the Dragon bench - but not at the same price the Roosters are paying...

Well he must have imprroved since we had him, when he gave that penalty away for pushing Soward he forgot to give the ref lip to get marched 10 meters.

Dragons aren't missing him, but he's having a great season, one of the top front rowers in the comp right now.

his first few games were a concern, I noticed a few times he was knackered after 10 mins on the field, even to the point where he was giving up and staying down behind play... I thought he was well past it.

now he's fit again he looks fantastic!

Weyman was the best out there today, but ryles was pretty good also, silly penalty which is par for the course.

not surprised some dragons fans are laying the boot in again, he copped a few before leaving even after many good years where he was good enough to represent NSW and Australia :?

Good to see him playing well.

Steela, a good majority of Saints supporters backed Jason Ryles in this forum and other forums, and continue to do so.

Of course, people are entitled to their opinion.

TBH I'm still filthy with the way some Dragon fans treated him (especially that 'tough guy' who yelled abuse at him & came on Jubilee Avenue gloating about it. A real winner in life....)

Would love to see him play under Bennett.

But time marches on....

He hit the line a few times, and actually hit it with his chest forward, and looking to knock people out of his way.

Was a remarkable change from the way he would hit the line almost upright when with us at times.

I'd love to have seen him under Bennett too. But that's life. The knock on was sweet justice after the multitude he dropped or us.

I always though Ryles was talented but a "dumb footballer". Not saying he's a dumb guy, he's not, but a dumb footballer. Too often he'd give away silly penalties, or look for that miracle off load when the Dragons were pinned back on their own try line. I always say just because you can off load, doesn't mean you should.

On his day, he was great, but everytime he'd make a tackle or run the ball up I'd be thinking "don't do anything stupid".

If reports are right, he was baited a bit by former team mates. More than anyone, they's know which buttons to push.

And here we're being told that it's the fans fault for bagging out on the poor fella.
