No matter how he played, Alex Chan was the coolest man in the world! He just needed to go somewhere that suited his personality!

Thats why he went to the comedy capital of the world!!....I can just see him lapping it up at the Comedy festival and heckling comedians!! from the frontrow. :lol:

I guess anyone who knows him well enough knows what I mean.

I wasnt a fan of Chan, but he had some good moments at Parramatta, I remember when he started in 2001, he had good offload ability, put the heavy work in defence. He sort of lost it when he broke his arm in 2002 against Souths.

I agree with most of what is said about Axel....however he lost me when he tried to put that massive shoulder charge on the tryline on Ben Kennedy when he scored in the GF.

The last thing we needed when we should have been trying to stop the leaking of points.

That being said. I did enjoy Axels' time at the eels and wish him all the best at the scummy Storm.

As he hasn't played a lot of footy for the Eels I don't mind seeing him try his luck elsewhere. Will be interesting to see how he goes down south. Good luck.
