I realise they lost Bird, but surely if they've signed Johnston and Dugan it comes at a price. Say Maloney for example. After we won a premiership we all just accepted that we'd have exits en masse. Sounds like Sharks are getting stronger.

Dufty lets the ball bounce at times which is a recipe for disaster.

His passing game is good and he has good vision also.

He backs up well through the middle.

His positioning has improved in a defensive aspect.

Dugan as a mentor hmm thats a bit of a stretch.

Young players especially the good ones run on confidence quite often when they step up in grade, it takes them a while to get their groove. So don't write them off too soon.
