Josh is part of the family. His soul now belongs to the Koala Way Maffia.

apparently from what was said last year, we need a change of board, as our winning run last year was all because of the new board.

just goes to show what crap that was...

TE,

Josh Massoud is a reporter for the Daily Telegraph.

Between late 2008, and Mid 2009 Josh authored a number of articles in the Daily Telegraph about the then upcoming Parramatta District Rugby League Club (PDRLC or FC as it is currently known) and the Parramatta Leagues Club (PLC which runs Parramatta National Rugby League Club (PNRLC))Elections. Most of these articles were quoting those running for election, in Opposition to the incumbent Board.

Although most on here who supported those in Opposition, (known then as 3P) would tell you that they were not happy with the "Muckraking" articles Josh wrote, those articles were quite effective in rallying those to the cause of "Ousting" Denis Fitzgerald.

It was later admitted in a Blog by Daily Telegraph's "Editor at Large" Phil Rothfeild, Phil stated that when 3P approached the Telegraph for coverage, Phil agreed that Josh should cover the elections and in doing so gave his details to 3P.

Some of us believe that this was a Quid Pro Quo situation and that would also mean many more articles in the telegraph, weather favourable or not. Indeed it is supposed in this thread that for the Exclusive Josh broke about our Captain Nathan Cayless retiring, that the above "Positive" peace about the club be published.

But away from Josh on our Trial form, there are reasons for it, and indeed there are reasons for our form of late, I have no doubts the playing group and the coaching staff will turn it around. Indeed I expect a much different performance against the Raiders. As far as I know, our trial form and the early season was a test for the players in terms of their ability to work "Fatigued"

Yep I have a good feeling about the Canberra game. The boys will be switched on and primed.

Mark, there was also the rumour that Josh is a close friend with a heavy 3P campaigner who was known to be an architect of the movement, but I think we shouldn't name him as he's already recived enough attention during the election campaign.

Fair enough, but I was trying to be factual and not post rumours or anything other than popular opinion and confirmed facts on Josh.

The Raiders will be SWITCHED off too, especially after getting run down by the Tigers. That would have been demoralising for them...

And rightly so. I was incredibly worried about our trial form too - mostly because of the nature of our defeats. Our trials showed poor attitude, a bit of laziness and some terrible ball control. Surprise, surprise!

Anyone else think trial form should be ignored??

The problem was though, our stars hardly played, why would we worry when we got belted by 2 teams in the Penrith trial and we rested 6 players for the Roosters trial and were competitive in the first half of both games only to bench key players for the second half of both matches.......

How could anyone gauge our form from that????? I was one who wasn't worried because of the above.......

The team unrest is the thing that has me worried, not what we did in our trials! The attitude on the field is appauling, i hope DA can sort it out very soon!

Excuses, Excuses........

If you use that logic, then you should have been very worried, because it would have showed we had a real lack of depth.

Not an excuse, it was a fact!

Lack of depth was already a known issue....

As i said, we were very competitive in the first half against the Roosters even with the 6 guys out, the second half Hindy, Cayless, Reddy, Burt and Moimoi never ran out, so effectively 11 of our first grade team were not out there. Of course we were going to struggle, any team would.

Remember when Melbourne got hammered during the Origin series 2 years ago when they had 9 of their first grade players out? I am pretty sure they made the GF that year.....

I'm not saying we shouldn't be questioning our performances right now but having watched the trials and witnessed them then and them now, i think there were more positive signs in the trials then there are now!

Yeah - fair point. I just don't think the sides we played were anywhere near full strength either so you would expect the Grand Finalists to put in a better effort. It just seems the way we trialled - is the way we have continued - no matter who is out there.

Anyway - that is all history now. I am still optimistic - although it is diminishing by the week !

No way... we're slightly better than we were in the trials... which really really really doesn't say much

well i didn't see the trials, but the form can't be much better now....?

i just cannot believe the holes they are digging for themselves within the first half or the first 20 minutes even - its just ridiculous for a comp favourite

We had a stronger starting side than Penrith but they also played with over 20 players where we used the 10 interchanges. Their enthusiasm killed us in the second half.

The Roosters were much stronger than us to start and and then we rested lots of players in the second half.

You are correct though, we should have put much better efforts in the trials and for the first 4 rounds, it really is hard to believe we came within 7 points of winning the comp last year!!!!!

Monday will be very interesting to see if some of the players really have woken up to themselves......
