As for Danny Williams for someone so concussed he managed to negate the following.

1. He played the ball correctly.
2. He brushed past the first marker (Skandalis) to get to O'Neill
3. By doing the above he knew who hit him high and was out for revenge on that person. If it was a dazed concussed man why not clobber the first bloke Skandalis.
4. He threw a perfect punch that was straight and vicious. A dazed or concussed man surely couldn't have been so co ordinated.
5. He knew what he had done as he nodded at the referee when sent off.

He deserves 18 weeks and none of your conspiracy theories hold any sway whatsoever.

The people to blame for ONeill's being knocked out are the officials for their total lack of control and Mark ONeill. The most important aspect of refereeing any sport is player safety, and there was absolutely nothing done by the officials throughout the game to prevent the Tigers from headslamming on a few occasions, and ngoing in with high shots or high swinging arms.

Didnt the judicary state at the start of the year that they were starting from scratch with respect to precedents so what Tallis got is complely irrelevent.
As for people on here condeming Williams but supporting biffo, there is a difference. What Williams did was not a biffo, it was a cowardly hit to an opponent who had no chance of defending himself.
