It's a breath of fresh air watching him interviewed in post game press conferences. You can tell he knows his footy and what it takes to make a successful team. So much better than Stuart blaming the refs and telling us we'd cop big losses all season, and Kearney's blank faced expression doing all the talking for him.

I love his reaction to stupid questions.

Journo: "Were you more happy with the 36 points for or the none against?"

Arthur's: "Well they're both good."

And the face he pulls when he has to listen to them. Like when merkins hated how he would respond to the endless inane Facebook questions about structure back in 2011.

I remember he bobbed up at the Sharkies for a While and was more famous for getting suspended than much else. Think he was Parra's 97 rookie of the year. Right up there with jack Afamasanga and Justin Tsoulos.

Very happy with what Arthur has brought to the Eels. We are a completely different unit to that of the previous three seasons. You can see the players actually give a s**t.

Not only that but we only need to score another 13 tries to match our 2013 total. Last year we scored 58 total, this year we already have 45 after 10 rounds.

and of those tries 33 of them have come from our fullback and wingers including toutai.
