Just to start the ball rolling....

Voodoo Chile (Woodstock version) - Jimi Hendrix - Amazing guitar craft from the legend.

Closer - Nine Inch Nails - Weird imagery without any connection to anything.

Smack My Bitch Up - The Prodigy - Crazy POV video of a drunken Friday night with a Twilight Zone style twist at the end.

Give It Away - Red Hot Chilli Peppers - A metallic Anthony Keidis with ribbon twirling worthy of any rhythmic gymnast.

Mr Krinkle - Primus - A procession by the circus of the bizarre. Apparently Les Claypool said he never sweated so much in his life in that pig mask.

Fun For Me - Moloko - Roisin Murphy in a nurse's uniform.....and THOSE eyes...I'm starting to melt.

The above songs would also make into my personal Hottest 100 of All Time.

Will post more when they come into my memory.

Boogie pimps - Somebody to love. Bunch if babies skydiving down to a damn fine Natasha Mealey rolling around the ground in her underwear. Cute and sexy at the same time.

Anything by Michael Jackson.

Blood Red Throne - "Primitive Killing Machine"

A middle-aged balding fat man kidnaps and then kills and eats young ladies. It was a very "WTF?" Moment, but it really stuck with me.

Anything by Tool is pretty awesome.

Come To Daddy and Windowlicker (unedited) - Aphex Twin - Two little horror shows in their own right. Just remember...if you're a dog....don't piss on TVs.

Actually, yeah, this is true.

I was around 7 when Thriller came out. It scared the shit out of me but I still thought it was the most awesome thing ever.

Michael Jackson's videos have always had the best production polish in history, especially with regards to choreography.

The trouble is, when you don't particularly like the song, the video goes out the window.

Damn Bileduct, I was 23 when it came out, but I was more interested in the New Wave phenomenon.

Sledgehammer - Peter Gabriel - Probably the first music video with morphing in it. Maybe that Godley and Crème song "Cry" would vie for that title.

Edit: Cry came out in 1985 and Sledgehammer in 1986.

Jamiroquai - Virtual Insanity (link)

The video is so simple, just him dancing around in a room basically, but the way in which the furniture and he slide and move around was completely baffling to me and everyone else at the time. I remember having arguments with people on how it was done. Remote control furniture and conveyor belts were the primary options.... who'd have thunk it that in actual fact the only thing that was moving was the walls. The entire room was on wheels and was simply pushed around by stage hands.

Not a bad song either really but I always love that film clip

If I were to pick a top 5 it would be:

5. Bjork - All full of love
4. Foo Fighters - Everlong
3. Fatboy Slim - Praise you
2. Nada Surf - Popular
1. Weezer - Buddy Holly

But there are so many good ones!

I admit that I don't really watch Music Video clips and when I do I generally opt for the live ones.

On the creative side though
One - Metallica
A Kind Of Magic - Queen
Freak On A Leash - Korn

I also liked some of the innovative ones.
Sledgehammer - Peter Gabriel
Take On Me - A Ha (don't care for the song, but the video is impressive)

And I like those that I can have a laugh at.
Whatareya - TISM
I might be c*** but I'm not a f**king c*** - TISM

I prefer ones more like
I Want It All - Queen
